A downloadable game for Windows

About:

Aperture is a first-person, perception-based, puzzle, photography game, where the only way to interact with the experience is through the use of the camera.

The game has a  'De Stijl' art style. It is a cubist art style that uses the primary colours of red, blue and yellow, as well as white and black, to convey the meaning of tranquility and harmony.

The experience revolves around interpreting objectives and meeting the requirements of these objectives, while trying to identify them within each level.

As the player progresses, camera abilities/features are unlocked as puzzles become more intricate or complex.

The player's main goal is to line up pieces of an image, based on positioning and the angle they are aiming at.

When a whole image is pieced together, it can be photographed and the respective objective will be completed. (As long as  the requirements are met).

The game also uses live-action videos when an objective is completed. This has been implemented to contrast the 'De Stijl' aesthetic.
